They seem to have avoided both injury and illness. Though Pastor Tom is evidently not quite back to 100%, the drugs supplied by the Milwaukee medical team were successful in returning both Don and John to full health. Apparently the only thing that has happened is that someone dropped something on their toe - not bad for a week of hard work. John said the weather has been good, though certainly hot, the team is working well together - and given the laughter I heard in the background, it seems as if spirits are high. They working eight hour days and are having devotions every evening. They are enjoying contact with both the family and their neighbors. It will be great to see everyone and hear their stories.

I am sure you join me in pray for their safe return and for blessings on the family for which they labor and all those with whom they are in contact.

BarbaraBarbarahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18438893873796700133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4216074579895346789.post-32781865368032051272008-02-17T11:17:00.000-08:002008-02-17T11:17:00.000-08:00Dear Team 14,We were happy to hear that you all ar...Dear Team 14,
We were happy to hear that you all arrived safely. Flight tracker had your plane stalled over Cuba for hours. We thought maybe you were either taking a side trip to Havana so that Cappie could brush up on her Spanish or were taken hostage because of contraband found in Kjersten's guitar case and then we figured out your plane had left American radar space.
Were your ears burning this morning? We prayed for you at church today. We know our prayers are being answered because the Milwaukee medical team showed up with their medications to cure Don, John and Tom. We are grateful for that. Pastor Wendy had us pondering Nicodemus' trick question and the answer Jesus gave in today's gospel. (Was this one of the three questions for our Lenten assignment?) We continue to pray that God will keep you strong and safe and full of joy as you build houses this week.
Vaya con dios!
FranFranhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16282606781937871225noreply@blogger.com
